We recently spent time with Lee Benoit, Cajun Music Hall of Fame musician, discussing the deep roots of Cajun music, culture, and history. The meeting offered a rare opportunity to hear firsthand stories that reflect generations of Louisiana heritage.
While the project is still in its earliest exploratory phase with no formal direction locked in, these initial conversations underscored the importance of preserving living history on screen.
The team is grateful for Lee’s openness and generosity, and for the opportunity to begin building a relationship with his son, Damien, as Noble Giant Films continues to explore what this documentary film or series could ultimately become.
